Thank You Letter to LifeWave: Nepal Earthquake Relief

In April of this year, more than 8,000 died in a 7.8 Nepal earthquake, followed by a powerful aftershock that left dozens more dead and more than 1,000 injured. In response, LifeWave Member Jeff Mamora reached out to David Schmidt and LifeWave to support a small group of medical professionals who travelled to Nepal to aid victims.

LifeWave provided the 16-member team with IceWave and Y-Age Glutathione patches—along with brochures, protocols and a training video—to help their relief efforts. One member of the team was moved to write a personal thank you letter to LifeWave.

Our good friend Erlina, in her own words:

Dear Life Wave community,

On behalf of Californians for Nepal, I want to thank you for all your support and donations for our mission, providing medical aide to remote villages in Nepal. We are a self-organized team of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and social workers mostly from San Diego County. Our team is led by Hem Rai, Nepalese American owner of Earth’s Element Gallery in Encinitas, California.

My name is Erlina, and I joined the team as a wound nurse. My good friend Jeff Mamora blessed me with so many patches donated from LifeWave Members around the world, including Founder and CEO David Schmidt. We were able to set up clinics in three very remote villages of Nepal, where I used the patches mostly for pain relief.  In addition to injuries resulting from the earthquake, these villagers commonly suffer from chronic pain, due to carrying heavy loads while climbing steep hills each day. The patches helped them tremendously.

Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you LifeWave family, for all your love and support. Thank you for reaching out, and caring—you’re a company with a big heart. Californians for Nepal appreciate you, and the people of Nepal are eternally grateful for your generosity.
