
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are a number of serious health risks associated with obesity. This widespread condition can result from a combination of causes, including dietary patterns, physical activity, inactivity, medication use and other exposures.
Whatever the cause, obesity is a serious concern associated with poorer mental health outcomes, reduced quality of life and the leading causes of death worldwide.
