Great news for LifeWave Distributors! A growth and outlook report recently published by the Direct Selling Organization reflects continued growth for direct sales around the globe.1
One of the fastest growing industries in the world, the nutritional supplements segment produced $32 billion in revenue in 2012, which is projected to double by 2021. Sales for wellness and other services categories have also steadily increased since 2009.
Global markets saw substantial increases in 2013 over 2012, which marks the fourth year of growth since the 2009 recession. This includes a three percent increase in U.S. retail sales, which reached the highest in recorded history at $32.67 billion. Global direct sales experienced an increase of eight percent, of which the U.S. represents 18 percent, the most of any country followed by China at 15 percent.
The smallest direct selling companies ($3 million or less in retail sales) experienced the strongest annual sales growth in 2013, increasing by nearly 23 percent compared to 2012. Mid-sized firms ($3 to 29.9 million in sales) increased almost seven percent, while the largest companies (revenue above $125 million) increased by more than three percent. Nearly 70 percent of newer firms (founded in 2000 or after) experienced some growth in 2013, and 48 percent of those with more tenure also flourished.
As evidenced by this meteoric growth, there’s no better time to be a LifeWave Distributor. You’re not only involved in one of the world’s fastest growing industries, you’re also working for a company that continually establishes it’s own remarkable benchmarks. The future couldn’t be brighter for LifeWave and the Network Marketing Industry!
