You may have heard about the importance of continual and never-ending development and self-improvement. Reality is Success leaves clues. Success lives by the same rules as nature, and that is what we feed grows and what we starve dies. It is important to feed the vessel that fuels your success, you and your mind. Let’s face it we live our life in our head. In order to achieve levels of success you have never experienced it is important to develop a greater level of self-awareness, have the ability to expand our perspective, and discover how to use the power of our mind to create the life we have always dreamed of, desired and deserved. This is critical if you want to feel happy, fulfilled and successful.
Our beliefs cause us to react or respond, to get anxious or remain calm, to get depressed or to become more driven in any given situation. It’s not about what happens to us in life, it’s about how we interpret what’s happening, that matters. If something doesn’t go the way we want it to, we can learn from it and become stronger or we can choose to assume more of a “victim” role and wallow in our misfortunes and throw a big ole pity party.
Look. I’m not judging because I’ve been there and done that. Some of my best pity parties were from situations that in the long term turned out to be gifts I just wasn’t capable of seeing at that moment. You know what they say, “hind sight is 20/20.”
That’s why I’ve worked so hard on myself over the years. Fear, Limiting Beliefs, Anger, Self-Doubt, and Guilt do NOTHING but suck the life out of us. However, when we truly discover our inner worth and we work to bring more VALUE into the lives of others and ourselves, it creates endless possibilities for every area of our lives.
When people ask me what the secret to success is, my response is often, “The more comfortable you are at being uncomfortable, the more successful you WILL become!” Your DREAMS must become more important than your desire to feel safe and secure. I practice what I preach. I am constantly outside my comfort zone.
