The #1 Way to Generate Business Growth

In his book Go Pro: 7 Steps to Becoming A Network Marketing Professional, author Eric Worre discusses in depth the steps it takes to become successful in network marketing. One of the most important steps that he mentions is attending a “destination event.”

Meeting people one on one, in small groups, or at local or bigger events, will have a huge impact on the long-term success of any Network Marketing organization. But one particular type of event is the most powerful, and that is the destination event.”

Eric defines a destination event as a company-sponsored event where you probably have to travel to and stay for a couple of days to attend a conference. He discusses how the most successful network marketers use these events to build their businesses by getting inspired, gaining strength from presentations and how “Sometimes a person says something at just the right time in your life, and it changes you forever.” If you’re not in attendance at an event, it’s impossible for this type of inspiration to happen!

Eric talks about how he’s experienced incredible milestone moments while at events. He writes, “I realized no one can stop me at an event. I decided to go to the top at an event. In fact, as I think back, I can’t think of a single significant moment in my Network Marketing career that didn’t happen at an event. They are that powerful.”

Another proven method to using an event to build your business is promoting the event within your team and emphasizing the importance of attendance by everyone. Eric writes, “The more people from your group attend events, the more money you’re going to make in our profession.” He then gives the following example:

Think about it. Take two distributors who each have a group of 100 people. Distributor A makes it a priority and gets everyone to attend every major destination event. Distributor B doesn’t make it a priority, so only a handful attend. Which group is going to be more successful? It’s not even a contest.”
